Isabelle & Jason's Beautiful Wedding at the Abernethy Center

Welcome to the very first blog on my new photography website!I'm excited to finally launch a photography website under my own name. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time, but somehow there was always another project, another excuse, or another reason to put it off. I'm definitely more comfortable behind the camera than behind a keyboard, and writing has never been my strongest skill, but everyone has to start somewhere. So, for my very first blog post, I couldn't think of a more meaningful story to share than Izzy and Jason's wedding day.

Isabelle and Jason's wedding at the Abernethy Center was a beautiful celebration filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments. This wedding was especially meaningful to me because I have known Jason and his family for many years. Over the years, I have been fortunate to be part of many celebrations within their circle of family and friends, including his sister Ellie's wedding, Sarah's wedding, and Kasey's wedding festivities. Walking into the reception felt less like arriving as a photographer and more like attending a reunion with old friends.

I still remember when these kids were little, singing together in the choir and practicing with the wushu team. It feels like just yesterday, and now they have all grown up and started families of their own. Seeing Jason marry the love of his life brought back so many wonderful memories and reminded me how quickly time passes.Thank you, Izzy and Jason, for trusting your "Joey 姐姐（Jiějiě）" to capture such an important chapter of your lives. It was truly an honor to be part of your wedding day, and I hope these photographs will bring you, your family, and your friends joy and cherished memories for many years to come.
